About the Clinic

People who need medical attention but lack health insurance have an option for affordable health care. The CareNet Clinic offers free basic medical care to eligible Kingman County residents.

The clinic is a partnership of the Kingman County Health Department and Kingman Healthcare Center.

Clinic hours, all at the Health Department:
  • Second Friday each month, from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Fourth Friday each month from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
The clinic is closed on county holidays.
 

Requirements

In addition to Kingman County residency, CareNet Clinic clients must meet these requirements:
  • Clients must not have health care insurance of any kind.
  • Clients must not have a household income higher than what is on the chart.

Proof of Income
Proof of household income must be presented before the first appointment. Acceptable proof of income includes:
  • Paycheck stubs
  • Some kind of written documentation of salary from an employer
  • Tax returns
Patients are strongly encouraged to call the Kingman County Health Department at 620-532-2221 before the first appointment to discuss your income situation. You will not be seen if you come to the clinic and you do not meet income and/or insurance requirements.

Please note: CareNet is not a pain management service. Narcotic pain medications and mood-altering medicine will not be available.
