Kingman County currently has no mandates or crowd restrictions in place resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic. COVID-19, however, will continue to be a public health concern for the unforeseeable future. Out of consideration for everyone’s health, we recommend masks be worn indoors when there is high transmission in the community and it doesn’t interfere with certain activities (like eating). We have also been encountering much confusion over isolation and quarantine guidelines. “Isolation” is done when someone is infected with an illness and must stay away from others; the minimum time an infected person must isolate is 10 days from onset of symptoms or from the date of a positive COVID-19 test if no symptoms are noted. “Quarantine” refers to close contacts of infected people; this time varies, depending on if you live at home with the infected person or not. We hope the Isolation and Quarantine graphic link will help clear up any confusion.
