County Starts $4 Million in Road, Bridge Work

Kingman County's 2017 hot mix overlay and bridge program will include 30 miles of surfacing and a new bridge over Smoots Creek. Total cost of the projects is $4.3 million.

New Countywide Sales Tax for Hospital Effective July 1

A new three-quarter cent countywide sales tax to support Kingman Community Hospital took effect July 1.

Voters approved the tax in a mail election held in March, by a vote of 1,689 to 613.

The tax was approved for 20 years.
